"Moleskine - stylish and durable"
Not only are Moleskine notebooks stylish they are also durable, as they are made with a thread bound binding and fine Italian acid-free paper. Each Moleskine book is surrounded by a rigid, bound oilcloth “moleskine” cover, has a built-in elastic closure to ensure the cover remains closed when the book is not in use, a ribbon placeholder and an expandable accordion pocket in the back ideal for holding notes, clippings, tickets and other memorabilia. Many famous artists and writers have reportedly used Moleskine notebooks and journals. More recently the travel writer Bruce Chatwin (1940-1989) who was a great fan of the Moleskine Pocket Journal created a resurgence of interest in these notebooks. He is famously quoted as saying "Losing my passport was the least of my worries, losing a notebook was a catastrophe".
